Responsibilities of Junior Analyst Boston Consulting Group
For the Survey Operations & Analytics (SOA) team at BCG, we are looking for excellent applicants that have experience and passion. This team is a crucial component of BCG's strategy to provide clients with outstanding value and long-lasting effect. It is a member of the Knowledge Practice Area.
SOA specializes in assisting BCG case teams with client initiatives that involve gathering primary data (surveys). The team is equipped to interact with both BCG case teams and outside service partners across all components of the primary research value chain.
The use of advanced analytics to analyze survey data is given particular focus in order to produce crucial outputs that lead to important discoveries. The team also creates simulations, visualizations, and models to enhance the usefulness and impact of these analytics outputs.
You'll be a part of a highly creative team with an entrepreneurial attitude at SOA. You will be engaged in a very active and quick-paced environment while working directly with BCG's core consultancy business.
In addition to bringing your own distinctive skills and abilities to the table, you will be expected to take advantage of opportunities for formal and on-the-job training to learn new things and advance your knowledge.

- Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with BCG case teams and topic leaders to help them during various stages of the market research/survey management lifecycle.
- Understanding corporate objectives and the context of related market research is a sign of being business oriented.
- Quick learner who is able to argue and evaluate survey design elements (sample, quotas, methodology, questionnaire structure, etc.) using knowledge of market research.
- Team player who can work well with partners, third-party providers, and survey programmers to implement online surveys and collect data.
